about
Based in the Boston area, Christian Yianopoulos crafts cinematic synth-pop rooted in resilience and self-definition.
At seven years old, Christian was diagnosed with a rare, life-threatening illness that altered the course of his childhood. Months in the hospital and years of rehabilitation changed how he moved through the world —and how the world perceived him. He learned early what it feels like to be underestimated, judged too quickly, or defined by what’s visible before anyone looks deeper.
He also learned resilience.
Music became the place where he didn’t have to justify his presence, but a space where difference wasn’t minimized, but amplified.
Combining glossy synth textures with emotionally charged pop songwriting, Christian creates modern synth-pop that is impactful and personal. His songs explore the coexistence of vulnerability and confidence, pain and magnetism. Rather than softening himself to meet expectations, he treats individuality as power.
His latest single, “Too Bad, So Sad,” is an unapologetic, liberating anthem about releasing people who decide your worth at first glance. If someone walks away without looking deeper, he makes it clear: that’s their loss.
Through polished production and lyrics laced with edge, Christian creates a world where pain becomes propulsion and confidence is claimed.
